What's New?

Zsnap Auto Delete

  • Zsnaps greater than 15 days old will now be automatically deleted from the EC520. This will help to preserve and ensure there is enough storage space on the EC520 to perform critical functions. In addition, there will now be a storage limit of 200MB allowed for Zsnaps. If the Zsnaps storage exceeds 200MB at any time, the oldest Zsnap will be marked for deletion.

Over-the-Air Update Opt in

  • Trimble has released the ability to update a machine’s components SG6 files remotely via an over the air update. If you wish to opt-in to this capability, please contact our local SITECH Northland representatives.

Design Validation and Error Handling Improvements

  • Trimble Earthworks version 2.15 will be able to better detect errors in both DSZ and VCL design files. When a design fails to load or has an error within it, Earthworks will now display a more detailed message regarding the particular error which occurred.

Center Guidance Focus Point for Dozers

  • Dozers can now utilize the center of blade focus point. This streamlines both:
    • Operator workflows when a steering solution is installed on the dozer and following alignments.
    • Simplifies the routine for daily checks on machines configured with an SU/U blade where the physical blade tip ‘wings’ may not be coincident with calculated blade tips of the system . The center focus point can be selected to verify that machine easting, northing, and elevation are within expectation.

Tilt Automatics Support for Excavators

  • Trimble Earthworks 2.15 introduces support for Tilt Bucket/Tilt Coupler automatics on specific supported excavators. This feature brings a new level of precision to excavation operations.
