File Deletion from GCS900
- Hold in the Enter or OK button on the display, then push the Power Button
- The display will open up in Manager Mode, which allows for more advanced settings changes in the main menu
- Insert your USB flash drive into the port on the control box, and the File Transfer dialog will automatically appear
- Press the Advanced softkey button
- Scroll down until Delete Designs is highlighted, then press the OK button
- Scroll down to the design/s to be deleted and press the 'softkey' to place a green check mark next to the design name, continue to select the design to be deleted as needed.
- Once all of the designs to be deleted have been selected, press the OK button
- Press the OK button once more to confirm the deletion of the designs
- After the design has been deleted, press the OK button to return to the file transfer dialog, then remove the USB flash drive from the control box
Creating Level and Sloping Pads using GCS900
- Hold in the Enter or OK button on the display, then push the Power Button
- The display will open up in Manager Mode, which allows for more advanced settings changes in the main menu
- Hit the Menu button:
- In the Configuration menu, highlight Select Design and click OK
Level Pad
- In the Select Design File screen, select the top softkey labeled New Level
- Select the appropriate coordinate system for your new plane (If it is a completely new pad on a new site, select Auto Create on Load)
- Select the elevation for your new plane
- Name the plane that you created, and load that design thereafter
Sloping Pad
- In the Select Design File screen, select the top softkey labeled New Slope
- Select the appropriate coordinate system for your new plane (If it is a completely new pad on a new site, select Auto Create on Load)
- Select which method of creation you would like to use with the lowest softkey (2 Point or Pt/Dir)
- 2 Point Method
- Select the Northing, Easting and Elevation of Point 1
- Select the Northing, Easting and Elevation of Point 2
- Enter a Left and Right side cross slope (Cannot be left blank)
- Point / Direction
- Enter a starting point’s Northing, Easting and Elevation
- Enter the direction of travel in degrees
- Enter the desired mainfall slope and cross slope
- Name the plane that you created, and load that design thereafter
